Shabbos Afternoon: Rabbi Abramson- Gemora/halacha shiur 45 minutes before mincha.

Shabbos’ Women’s Tehillim: Friday evenings, 20 minutes after CLT at the Wolper home, 6731 N. Sacramento.

¨From the Rabbi’s Study¨

Our Sages tell us that the righteous even in their death are called alive. This famous adage refers of course to their lifetime achievements that far outlive their years in this world. Several weeks Rav Avrohom Chaim Levin , Rosh Yeshiva of Telshe Yeshiva in Chicago passed away after a long and productive life. Yet if one were to visit the Yeshiva today and/or correspond with her many alumni we might see firsthand his great accomplishments to Torah life in our city and far beyond. Rav Levin, though born in Europe was raised in Detroit and rose to highest levels of Torah leadership eventually appointed to be a member of the Moetzes Gedolai Hatorah. More importantly he touched the lives of young men in a positive way even while swimming against the tide of the modern American society. His life’s accomplishments speak for themselves but his legacy lives forever.
