¨From the Rabbi’s Study¨

Central to our belief system is the great miracle of the parting of the Yam Suf-the sea of reeds. This phenomenon was the pinnacle event of the Jewish exodus from Egypt and will be forever ingrained in our history and religious identity. Thus the song spontaneously composed and sung by Moshe and the Bnei Yisroel is part of our daily liturgy and symbolic of our future geulah-redemption. We reinforce that emunah this shabbos as we listen to it once again in this week’s parsha.
