¨From the Rabbi’s Study¨

The opening of this week’s Parsha Vayetze is a road map for tefilla. Jacob’s ladder is a reference to Jacob’s “communication” with Hashem and Hashem’s response. Prayer is our form of communication with Hashem as we seek guidance, mercy, and consolation. We therefore should use this opportunity to reinvigorate our “kavanna” in prayer and recognize it for the unique and special time that it is.
