¨From the Rabbi’s Study¨

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reported that 2018 has seen a sharp rise in the number of anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. Coupled with the BDS and women’s march movements we are under attack from both the right and the left. Pharaoh as is seen in this week’s Pashas Shemos repeats many of these same themes. The Jews are too powerful, disloyal and suspicious. Thus, the oppression and slavery is justified and we begin a new chapter in the life of the Jew in the galut.; in fact the first of many. Yet it was through the intervention of hashem that Moshe is born and is to eventually lead the people to freedom and Mount Sinai. We pray that we will continue to trust in God’s help even while we remain vigilant.
