¨From the Rabbi’s Study¨
We usher in the ten days of repentance Monday morning Rosh Hashanah with the sounding of the shofar. As the Rambam explains, it is an awakening of sorts from the slumber of the past. It is inevitable that we at times slip into a routine without warning and subconsciously. Rosh Hashanah and specifically the sounding of the shofar is a call to arms; not militarily but emotionally and spiritually. Let us therefore mobilize for the coming days and weeks and prepare to meet our potentials.

HIGH HOLIDAY MEMBERSHIP DRIVE: We are now in a very auspicious time leading into Slichos begining Motzai Shabbos at midnight , Rosh Hashanah, Aseres Yomei Teshuvah, Yom Kippur and the Sukkos season. We are sounding the shofar daily and adding L’Dovid to our daily tefillos each shacharis and maariv.
Our annual membership drive is under way along with seating reservations for our High Holiday minyanim. We will be holding High Holiday morning services at 7AM in the Hoffman Hall, and 8AM in the main sanctuary. Please click HERE to download our membership forms and reserve now.
